Hi to you all on the list, My name is Pat Hughes, and I am living in Australia. I am looking forward to listening in on the history and names of members of the list. I am searching for the family of George Davies who married Catherine Sharples in Blackburn 1852. I am not quite sure if this is the right list be belong to, so I hope I am ok. I really need help in finding where George was born, that would open the door to find his correct ancestry. The only details we have are, England and on his second marriage certificate we cannot read the place. It looks like Glasternstin, but I cannot find anything on it.
