Hello Everyone, Thanks for the list. I wonder if anyone could be kind enough to check up in the 1861 census for a William Anderton, he was born in 1840 and became a Blacksmith, he was living with his parents in 1851 in Preston and could have been in prison by 1861 as he got into regular trouble until he was transported to my neck of the woods in 1868. But he could also have been living somewhere else in the Preston or Blackburn region. We are trying to find out if he had a wife and children before he was shipped out.
