Hi, Could SKS please do a look up for me at Preston CRO. According to the IGI my ancestor was born the same day her parents were married. I have checked the register for the marriage and that is right all I need now is for someone to check the Grindleton church register for the birth of Jenny HARGRAVES 23rd September. The year on the IGI is 1800 but that is the year her parents married. We all know the IGI can be wrong. I know for sure her fathers name was John. Thanks. Joan in Devon
