To all list members: The old timers on these lists will be bored by this, as we've been thru it many times, but some of the newbies are having real problems again, so here goes: If you have AOL 6.0 (and historically AOL and Rootsweb do not mix well anyway), you are currently not able to send emails to your lists, but you are getting other peoples mail, and are very confused. The problem is that AOL 6.0 is converting your letters into HTML format and Rootsweb servers bounce it. To correct the problem: 1. Type your email as usual. 2. Put the curser in the text box then right click the mouse 3. Click on "Select All" which highlights everything 4. Right click the mouse again 5. Click on text and then on normal 6. Left click on the screen to set it and then send It takes less than 5 seconds, but it works. I do not have AOL (don't want it either), and am passing this on to all my lists so that those of you that are can get back to posting and seeing your posts on all the email lists. Happy Hunting!
