Hello Laurie I don't know about boundaries. I just looked this up in my 1976 British Road Atlas. It listed Todmorden as in West Yorkshire. The same atlas lists a Clayton in Yorkshire close to Todmorden. However, I am originally from Manchester and remembered a Clayton in Manchester. It is listed in a Manchester A to Z book. The List member was not to sure of where his relatives were from. My response was as a suggestion only. I have been on the odd occasion to Todmorden as well as Ebden Bridge. My school friends brother was the mayor for two terms in Ebden Bridge. This was when I was visiting Bamford near Rochdale. Hi Mike Hebden Bridge is the town I grew up in. I know we Yorkshire lasses have been known to drop "aitches" so thought had better make the correction before it was lost forever!
