Hello Bob, I have checked the IGI and there is a marriage for William Boardman to Mary Christey on 20.1.1834 at St. Peter's, Bolton. This one is a bit later, probably too late for yours: William Boardman b. 5.2.1813 Walton-le-Dale, Lancashire, died 19.11.1895 Salt Lake City. Married Mary Marshall, b. 10.3.1818 Salwick, Lancashire, died 1.4.1881 Salt Lake City. They were married at St. John's, Preston on 8.10.1838.
