Hello, I'm a new subscriber and would like to list my interests. I am a descendant of Jenny or Jane Fairhurst who married Peter Hollingsworth in 1791 in Wigan. Their son, also Peter Hollingsworth, went to India with the East India Company and he is my 3rd G-Grandfather. Peter's grandparents were Peter Hollingsworth and Frances Broster who married in 1767 in Wigan. Unfortunately I don't have anything on the Broster line - can't seem to find them in Wigan in that time period. Jenny or Jane Fairhurst is the daughter of Richard Fairhurst and Elizabeth Atherton who married in 1766 in Wigan. I have several generations back on both of these lines. If anyone has any info on the Broster line or if I can help anyone with any information that I have I would be interested to hear from you. Thank you.
