So what are you hoping to do, or what are you seeking help on ? It's not clear from the way you've phrased your message ! Are you looking to go back before 1811, or is it the emigration that has left you with a brick wall ? I certainly have a problem with a coal mining ancestor going to the US or Canada in 1907, and seemingly disappearing from the face of the earth. There appear to have been a good many "assisted passage" schemes around in the early 1900's, often with places such as Fernie and Cape Breton as the eventual destination. Best wishes. Paul
