Hello Dorothy, All i know is that Broster was a well known name in Earlestown [ Newton -Le -Willows ] Lancashire, Now Merseyside, in my youth. One name that comes to mind is Herbert [ bert known around earlestown as cirk[i dont know for what reason. A lot of Wigan people came to work in Earlestown in the late 1800.Iknow of the other names where also around. Kind regards Frank.
