Hi Barb, I have MCINTYRE'S from Wigan. They were originally from "Somewhere in Ireland" but had settled in Wigan by 1881. The family were as follows, starting with mum and dad: Owen MCINTYRE born abt 1821 in Ireland and deceased by 1881 although I don't know when or where he died. Mary MCINTYRE born abt 1821 in Ireland Children I know of: Mary MCINTYRE born abt 1849 in Ireland Michael MCINTYRE born abt 1853 in Ireland Annie MCINTYRE born abt 1860 In Ireland. Michael MCINTYRE was by great grandfather and he married Mary TABERBER in 1881. Annie MCINTYRE married Thomas QUINN from Garadice, Co Leitrim in Wigan in 1881. The couple later emmigrated to Canada, Montreal I believe and Thomas died there in 1891. Does any of this connect with your MCINTYRE family?
