You can buy postage stamps from other countries online, using your credit card, through either their post system or through their philatelic society. The stamps will be delivered to your home. I have a whack of U.K., U.S. and Australian international stamps. I just pop an international stamp on each self-addressed envelope and that has always worked. The IRCs are very expensive and can be troublesome to procure if your postal office isn't close by.
