I am looking for John WILKINSON, born 1851 in Tarporley, Cheshire. He married Margaret WOOD(S) in 1872 in Wigan. He lists his address on the marriage cert. as Vine Street Wigan. He is listed as a Pointsman on Railway. On later census records he is a Police Constable, and always is born in Tarporley. I have started trawling though the 1871 census to try to find Vine Street and see if his family are there. His father is listed also as John and is a Stonemason. I've traced the WOOD(S) family all the way back to 1841 still in Wigan. Margaret's father was also a stonemason. Best Regards Susan in Dubai
