Hello, have you tried looking for your Irish relatives on-- Fermanah Gold--an I rish family history site Also there a re Mellings in Farnworth ,famous bread makers--there are bakers in Wigan called Mellings as yet i do not know if its the same family--my friend is related to the Wigan ones and we are researching these next---if i can help in any way please ask Lynda
