Hi All Can someone advise what % of the original census has been included in the various census date records.as presented by Ancestry Some counties I have previously checked have in the various census years far less than the reputed population total EG Census Monmouthshire 1861--As I recall, it has only 60% of the possible total population---balance was destroyed or lost I would like to know the odds of success of my research in Lancashire---if a % of the record is missing, the odds lengthen Regards Robert From the Roaring Forties
