Hi, I have come acrossed several Heatons married into the Pendlebury line. One that I have right on my desk now is Mary Pendlebury 1 Apr. 1827 Horwich married a John Heaton. Children were Frank Heaton 1858, Edith Heaton 1860. In 1861 Church Street Horwich, Mary is listed with the children and living with John Pendlebury 1799 Horwich. On the 1871 census, Frank and Edith Heaton have been adopted by Abraham Pendlebury 1813 and his wife Hannah. Abraham was a tailor at Horwich. These are the other Heatons I have in the Pendlebury tree. Roger Pendlebury married Ann Heaton 3 Jan 1802 at Deane. Ann born 1781 died 5 Oct 1835. She had a sister Betty Heaton who married a Horrocks. A cousin of Ann above, also named Ann Heaton married William Pendlebury. Another cousin of the Ann above, Lambert Heaton, had a daughter Jane Heaton. This Jane married Gerard Pendlebury 3 Jan 1827 Deane and is in my tree.
