Hi Jane, the only information that I have on Elizabeth is what I was given it reads -- Elizabeth Moorfield nee Atherton, father James Atherton, married 30 Aug. 1845 at the Wigan Parish Church to Samuel Cheetham. She had four children - Ellen, Elizabeth, Samuel, and Ann. She was born in Orrell about 1820 and died 15 Dec. 1879 in Pemberton. I think most of the early information about her must have come from the Marriage Certificate. A few years ago I had the "job" of putting together the work of about four different Cheetham researchers into one family tree. I had to check out each entry and try to make sure that it was correct. The information on Elizabeth came from one of the other researchers with whom I can find a common ancestor in the late 1700's. Her first daughter Ellen married George Wilkinson. They had a son Samuel, who had three children Maud, Samuel and Frank. The strange thing is that the wife of Samuel is not listed just the children's names. I hope this helps you. Joyce
