Hi, I only have one Wigan interest... Eliza HODGSON born in Winstanley 1808 and died in Oldham in 1884. Eliza's father was John HODGSON. Eliza's first husband was Joseph BONUS, they married sometime in the 1830s and I can find no birth or marriage in the Oldham area, so it is possible that Joseph BONUS was also born in the Wigan area.
