Hi Everyone This is my first posting to this list so I hope I do this right. I have an ancestor who was a railway goods guard in Lancashire. I knew that he died on the 21 January 1883 in Bolton, Lancashire and I suspected that he may have died doing his job. I recently found on the wiganworld cemetery records website that he was killed on the railways.
