John This looks about right My Mum didn't really know much about her Aunt's and Uncle's but two she recalls are Amy and Annie, and her Grandfather's name was John. Joseph, my Grandfather I have noted as born 'about 1888' so 1901 - 11 is roughly right. Louisa Birchall, my Grandmother, was Joseph's second wife, we know little about the first, for a long time the 'family secret'. Mum didn't find out for ages that her eldest brother Sidney was in fact her half-brother (or should that be step?!) Only piece of information I have is that her Surname was Gladwell. My Grandmother was Louisa BIRCHALL, born 20/1/1897 -77 Catherine Street, Warrington She married Joseph Barrow at The Parish Church, St Clement, Broughton, Salford 20/12/1919 Her parents were John BIRCHALL and Mary Ann GIBBONS. He was a cobbler, but I really don't know much more about him, but surely would like to explore this avenue more for my Mum. They had 7 daughters in all, Elizabeth Ann, Margaret Hannah, Mary Ellen, Ethel, Lydia, Louisa and Elsie. If anyone on this list can point me to previous generations, I'd be most grateful Regards Neil ----- Original Message ---- From: Sue Kinsella <familyhistory@thekinsellas.net> To: ENG-LAN-WARRINGTON@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, 26 January, 2007 6:32:49 AM Subject: [LAN-WARR] Birchall Hardman Rutter ----- Original Message ----- From: Sue Kinsella To: ENG-LAN-WARRINGTON@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, January 27, 2007 8:41 AM Subject: Birchall Hardman Rutter Does anyone on the list have a connection with these three families Birchall Hardman Rutter and can TOM BIRCHALLcontact me please Regards Sue Kinsella ** PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SUBJECT HEADING WHEN E-MAILING THE LIST ** ** PLEASE REMOVE "signatures" from your e-mails to facilitate easier searching of the archives ** ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LAN-WARRINGTON-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ** PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SUBJECT HEADING WHEN E-MAILING THE LIST ** ** PLEASE REMOVE "signatures" from your e-mails to facilitate easier searching of the archives ** ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LAN-WARRINGTON-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
