Hi, I'm looking to make contact with any other researchers connected to the GASKELL family whose members are as follows: Joseph GASKELL born 1844 in Warrington parents: Thomas GASKELL and Margaret (Thomas believed to have been born in Rainford, Margaret in Orrell/St Helens/Billinge) Siblings: Elizabeth, John and Sarah Joseph married Maria DAVIES in 1868 and Elizabeth DAVENPORT in 1883. Children: James, Elizabeth, Joseph, Margaret (first marriage) and Mary Ann, Phoebe, Alfred, Peter, Thomas, Bertha, Eleanor and Sally (second marriage). Joseph was a Tanner by trade and the family lived in Montgomeryshire and Shropshire in the second half of the 1800's. Would like to be able to confirm Thomas' parentage and Margaret's maiden name in particular.
