    1. 1841 Census Lookup for WARRINGTON - EDGAR, DRINKWATER?
    2. Jennifer Detta
    3. Is there someone who could do a lookup at the 1841 census for Warrington? I have been all through the IGI, 1851 and 61 census(s), directories and also message boards to try and find a couple of elusive names. I'm looking for Thomas EDGAR Sr., listed on the 30 May 1838 marriage certificate (in Warrington) for son Thomas. Thomas Sr.'s occupation on cert. shown as Brazier, Thomas Jr. is noted as living on Bridge St., Glazier, Warrington. Son Thomas was born in 1816 in Warrington - not found in the IGI - it would be great to find either of them in the 1841 census. I found Thomas Jr. in the 1851 census, living at Lower Bank Street, head, mar, 35, Plumber and Glazier, b. Warrington. Thomas Sr. would have been born about 1794-96. Also looking for Joseph DRINKWATER, listed on the same marriage certificate as above, and father to Ann (b. 1811, Warrington and listed on cert. as living at Lythgoe's Lane). Father, Joseph, listed as Gentleman. I cannot find Joseph Drinkwater in the 1851 census. He would have been b. about 1791. Can someone help, or perhaps suggest another avenue? Thanks, Jennifer

    3. I've not got access to the census (hopefully somebody else will be able to help) but it might be worth checking out some directories of the area around that date) A glazier might well have his name/address included in order to drum up trade, and Many have separate sections for 'quality folk etc' (try looking online here, www.historicaldirectories.org/ , or at your local main library) good luck Anthony -----Original Message----- From: Jennifer Detta [mailto:jjdetta@cintek.com] Sent: 07 March 2006 19:50 To: ENG-LAN-WARRINGTON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [LAN-WARR ] 1841 Census Lookup for WARRINGTON - EDGAR, DRINKWATER?
