Was there Army Barracks in or around Warrington in the early 1800s, if so, does anyone know the regiments which might have been stationed there? Jean in Adelaide has kindly found a baptism for me in 1803 where the father is shown as a "soldier", so I now need to try to trace him. Hope someone can help. Betty in New Zealand
