It has come to my attention that several records from St Pauls Bewsey Street Marriages have failed to appear on the Cheshire site. These are principally from the end of one book. While I was in England this year I made a verbal note on my recorder of these missing entries. While they do appear on the FreeBDM site, it doesn't give you the name of the church which the Cheshire site is so helpful with. So accordingly I thought to make a New Years present of them to the list. If anyone wants me to send the list in another format, please feel free to contact me, off list. What do others think? Do enough of us have some information? With the monotonous repetition of names it can get confusing without the addresses or parents names to clarify the families concerned. Fellow Listers, Could somebody please help find this family in 1841 or 1851 Census for Lancashire. George Challender (vars Challendar, Challinor) was born 1838 near Horwich, but other nearby locations like Blackrod, Chorley etc seem to be likely. His parents were George born c 1797 and Betty (Elizabeth). But that's all I know. I am trying to find parents ages and birthplaces which most likely mean 1851 data.
