I too am interested in knowing if there is a Warrington Pubs site or even a book with history and pictures as my parents were also publicans there. Many of their friends were publicans so I got to visit a few as a child. I missed the earlier e-mails so excuse my not knowing if the Warrington Pubs of 1920 mentioned is a book. Angie
Does anyone recall the Brickmakers' Arms on School Brow? It was run by the Gough family in the 1950s, and I was friend of their daughter Beryl, and used to spend Saturday evenings in their upstairs living room.
