Hello Listers, It's been awhile, and I am still at a brickwall with these. Thomas EDGAR b. abt. 1816 in Warrington, found in the 1851 census living at Lower Bank Street, age 35, Plumber and Glazier, with wife Ann (DRINKWATER) age 40 (b. 1811) in Warrington, and sons Joseph T (Thomas) age 12 and Frederick age 2. I have been unable to locate this family in the 1841 census. I have a copy of the marriage certificate: 30 May 1838, St. Paul's Church, Warrington Thomas EDGAR, of full age, Bachelor, Glazier, Bridge Street, father Thomas EDGAR occ. Brazier. m. Ann DRINKWATER, of full age, Spinster, Lythgoe's Lane, father Joseph DRINKWATER, occ. Gentleman. I have been unable to find baptismal records for both Ann and Thomas, and have no idea at all about the fathers. I am particularly interested in finding out more about father, Thomas EDGAR (Sr.) presumably born abt 1790 - where? He is not found in the 1841 census. Any ideas? Jennifer Detta Kimberley, BC Canada
