Hi Jennifer, There is a Thos Edgar (b abt 1821) and Joseph Edgar (b abt 1837) with a large group of other Edgars (it looks like a multi-generational family) in Warrington (HO107/521/10) and an Ann Edgar (b abt 1816) with a Walsh family in Warrington (HO107/521/6). Is it possible your Edgar family were living with relatives and Ann was away from home for some reason? The birth dates are a bit off but they rounded off ages in the 1841 census. There is also a Thos Edgar (b abt 1763) in Warrington (HO107/521/10) Good luck >From: "Jennifer" <jjdetta@cintek.com> >Reply-To: eng-lan-warrington@rootsweb.com >To: <eng-lan-warrington@rootsweb.com> >Subject: [LAN-WARR] RePosting Interest: EDGAR, DRINKWATER >Date: Sat, 24 Feb 2007 08:06:54 -0700 > >Hello Listers, > >It's been awhile, and I am still at a brickwall with these. > >Thomas EDGAR b. abt. 1816 in Warrington, found in the 1851 census living at >Lower Bank Street, age 35, Plumber and Glazier, with wife >Ann (DRINKWATER) age 40 (b. 1811) in Warrington, and sons >Joseph T (Thomas) age 12 and >Frederick age 2. > >I have been unable to locate this family in the 1841 census. > >I have a copy of the marriage certificate: >30 May 1838, St. Paul's Church, Warrington >Thomas EDGAR, of full age, Bachelor, Glazier, Bridge Street, father Thomas >EDGAR occ.
