For John Morrison....I have been researching my grandmother Ruth (Cunliffe) Morrison from Warrington who marrier Alfred Morrison 1905 in Prestwich. Had a daugther Hilda in 1906 and a son James (we think). Ruth came to the USA in 1923 from Southport. We do not have any information beyond Hilda's birth. All that is available in 1901 and provides vital clues. Just looking at their ages, you should find them with parents in 1881 or 1891. And just keep working backwards from there.
