    3. Orford was by the 1950s a suburb of warrington, and a place where many of the working-class families from old central Warrington, based on Church St, Howley and School Brow, were decanted, in the slum clearances of the 1940s and 50s. I assume in the 1800s it would be a village in its own right. I am hoping someone may be able to advise me as to where I could search for any records of that time. I cannot find IGI batch nos. for Orford and hardly any mention at all of Orford as a place. Hoping for some advice if possible Dahlis Southern Highlands NSW Australia No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
