I think Orford was a hamlet associated with Poulton with Fearnhead. I would assume that for that period (early 1800s), the parish church would be Warrington's (St Elphins). From memory, the online version of the IGI does not have records for that period in Warrington. I believe that Christ Church, Padgate was built in the 1830s - if your family stayed in that area they may have used that church during the mid-century period. I don't live near Warrington, but if you are hoping for someone to do a look-up on microfilms of parish records,I might be able to help you in late October.
