Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't recall what information was and wasn't available on the 1841 Census, but I'm presuming birthplace wasn't one of them? I so need to find absolutely anything that tells me where Henry WOOD was born, or his parents' names. I have nothing so he is my brick wall. I can go no further with my WOOD family. Thank you one more time... Lisa, Here's a summary of all the data that I've seen to date. I think that you're just going to have to search through all the various WOOD possibilities for Henry, James & Samuel and eliminate them one by one. Name Relationship Born Died 1841 1851 1861 1871 1881 (Rnd) Henry WOOD Head 1803 1849 40 Dec'd Dec'd Dec'd Dec'd (married 1835 Farnsworth Market Pl Ann/Jane WOOD (nee SUTTON) Wife 1800 40 50 62 Market Pl Market Pl Market Pl Ann SUTTON Mother in law 1770 70 Market St Henry WOOD Son 1839 1 11 24 Market Pl Market Pl Market Pl James WOOD Son 1839 1 11 21 Market Pl Market Pl Warrington Samuel Sutton WOOD Son 1842 n/a 8 Market Pl Not Found It's possible that Samuel died, was overseas on naval or military service, migrated etc. I even saw one Samuel in an Institution. That too would cause some doubts about the data provided for the census. But apart from doing the job for you, I can't see where I can assist further. Peter
