How far is it from warrington to Pendleton? My Thomas Stanistreet b. 1821 was born in Warrington according to census. I found an entry in the parish regs for St. Thomas parish Pendleton that might be him. As an adult he did live in this parish most of his life. I wonder what possible situation might exist to reconcile this. Maybe born in Warrington but christened in Pendleton. This child on this entry was illegitimate. So I don't know what parish his mom lived in and which parish would have been resposible for her. The father is from Manchester possibly. barbara

Hello Barbara On the IGI there is a Thomas STANISTREET,(father Thomas STANISTREET) born 1821 Warrington, Married Isabella JOHNSON, 5 April 1844 at Eccles, Death 18 June 1895. It is a patron submission so needs the usual care. Does this sound like your Thomas? Do you know Thomas's father's name, ie from his marriage cert? Pendleton is roughly 15 Miles from Warrington, Eccles is en route between Pendleton and Warrington, nearer to Pendleton. Kind regards Jean.
