Hello, If anyone has access to the 1861 or 1871 census for Warrington could they please look for the McDowells. In the 1851 census they were living in Church Street as under: John, Head 56 Commercial Traveller born Scotland Mary, Wife 51 born Ireland Chn: Margaret DAVIES 24 E*nea 20 (name unclear) Jane 20 Ellen 15 John 13 Sarah 9 + another not legible I am hoping that the parents named the places in Scotland and Ireland where they were born so I can delve further.
