Hello everyone, Many thanks to Sue and Pamela who have been of such assistance to me regarding the McDOWELL family in Warrington. It is great that people are willing to share their resources. When Ellen McDowell married Jonathan ACTON in 1854 at St Paul's, Warrington her address was given as 'Corn Market'. I haven't been able to locate this so it has probably been redeveloped or renamed. Does anyone who perhaps lives in Warrington know about this area? Regards Joy
