Thank You for your reply. In answer to your question, I'm really not sure. My George was a filecutter. I have him in the 1841 census in Warrington. He is in Haydock Street, with his wife Mary and 3 children Thomas, George and Fanny. According to the 1851 census they are all born Warrington, except for Mary who has married into the family and is from Appleton. Baptismal records and burial records in the 1750's show only a few Boardmans and they are all from Burtonwood. Hi Sue, I have a May, daughter of Alfred Herbert Titchard b. 1867, d. 1920 & Bridget (nee Finigan (spellings vary), b. 1861. Mary married firstly: Harry Thomas, and had seven children by him: Alma, Olive, Jean, Arnold, Roy Austin.
