Hi Jhone, I have 2 of my Emerson's married to Partington's in that area, do we connect? Francis Emerson married Ann Partington 6 March 1815 at Middleton their home was at Bowlee. Plus his sister Ann Emerson married Noah Partington 18 October 1818 at Prestwich they lived around the corner at Whittle.
