Hello Marshall, Have you checked the GRO birth indexes for David Hilton? That would probably be the only place where you would find details of his birth, but, not all births were registered at that time. The Middleton church records very rarely show a birthdate (with exception of the non-conformist chapels). On the odd occasions a gravestone will record both birth and death dates. Doreen.
