October, 2005 I would be very grateful if S.K.S. could please help me to establish the year of death of Joseph Henry PRICE, who was born in February, 1860, Beattie Farm, Middleton, Son of Thomas and Mary PRICE, formerly NIELD. In the 1891 census Joseph, was in the 'COLDSTREAM GUARDS' in Barracks, London, aged 28. (Single). In the 1901 census he appears as a Mason's Labourer, living in a Lodging House, at 9, Front Mill Gate, Rawtenstall, Lancashire. Have drawn several blanks of any possible marriage. His father Thomas, was born 1818 in Wervin, Cheshire, died [Reg. 2 qtr. Haslingden, RD]. aged 66. Mary, died 1892. [Reg. 1 qtr. Haslington, RD] aged 70.
