Janet, Would it be an imposition on you to look for Hamilton (Wright, John, Hannah, Jane, William, Thomas, Sally, Robert James, George, Esther) or Howarth (Haworth) - Jane, Joseph, or others in late 1700s through mid-1800s? My grandmother (Howarth)/grandfather(Hamilton) X5 were married there in 1829. Any help would be much appreciated. Sarah Hamilton US/Massachusetts
Hello Susan There is only one HAMILTON burial listed on the Oldham St Mary's burials CD - this is it:- 25 Apr 1854 Alfred HAMILTON, son of Peter & Hannah, age 3, abode Bottom of Moor, a morning burial There are (surprisingly) only 5 HAWORTHS, and all are between 1698 and 1727. There are hundreds of HOWARTHs, but no Janes and only one Joseph after 1829. THis is him:- 15 Aug 1849 Joseph HOWARTH, aged 61, of Townfield hth Janet Curran >From: Nauset01@aol.com >Would it be an imposition on you to look for Hamilton (Wright, John, >Hannah, >Jane, William, Thomas, Sally, Robert James, George, Esther) or Howarth >(Haworth) - Jane, Joseph, or others in late 1700s through mid-1800s?
