Does anyone have a source for looking up mill owners in Rochdale? I know that my ggrandfather William Malone owned two mills (along with a partner) in the mid 1870s. I would like to learn the mill names and the partner's name, and would be most grateful for any assistance. Also, can anyone tell me the story of the collapse of Fenton's Bank in Rochdale in about 1879? Thanks!
