Having noted the baptism of Jonathan Simpson from Henry Brierley's microfilm name index to St Chad's registers in Rochdale Library a couple of years ago, I'm now trying to find further details. Brierley gives the parents of Jonathan as Edward & Ann of Captain Fold, and the date of baptism seems to be 10 January 1780. I'd welcome any information about Jonathan's siblings and ancestry.
