    1. [ENG-LAN-MIDDLETON-L] Mellalieu St
    2. Hi all, I didn't even know there was a Mellalieu St in Middleton and I'm only round the corner. Please correct me if I'm wrong but Mellalieu doesn't exactly sound like a local name. There has probably been a famous one here abouts who the Street was named after. I wonder if a search engine job might reveal who ? 3. Actually there are two others in the area, one in Heywood, another in Royton. I did not see any others in my A to Z for Manchester and areas. The one in Middleton runs from Wood street in an east direction, across the main road (Long Street) and continues the other side of Long street past the north side of the park as New Lane. A little bit further and you should see the old church St Leonard's just to the south.
