I don't know if you remember me but I have a Joseph Emerson b. 1805 Unsworth, living in 1881 in Radcliffe with daughter Sarah Emerson Hamilton, with a probable connection to Joseph and Sarah Emerson in Bury (think he's the son and she's a daughter-in-law). Hi again Sarah, Thank you for the message. I do have a Joseph EMERSON b1803 but unfortunately not the one you are looking for. There is a Joseph Emerson parish of Prestwich who married Betty Kenyon parish of Middleton 13 Nov 1781 at St Leonards. I have only found one child baptised to this couple she is Ann, May 1782 at St Leonard`s Middleton dau of Joseph Emerson, a weaver & wife Betty of Middleton.
