Hi Anne I can't find Standing Chair on any map. There is a Starting Chair right at the south west corner of Oldham, at Hollinwood, but that is on a map (97.13) that Alan Godfrey hasn't published yet. If you think this might be what you are looking for (it's a group of 4 houses off Hollins Road, quite near the junction with Manchester Road) then contact me off-list I will let you have map extracts of both the 1844-5 OS 6" map and the 1890-91 OS 25" map showing Starting Chair.
