Barry, My Hiltons are as follows: Margaret Hilton married William Kent on 4th January 1825 at St. Mary's Parish Church, Prestwich, Lancashire Both Margaret and William were living in Tonge at the time of marriage. I also have an entry for the christening of Margaret Hilton at Middleton on 6th April 1806. No indication of which church. This is on the Mormon Church web site. Parents were John Hilton and Sarah Hilton. The date appears right for Margaret. But I haven't yet had the chance to confirm whether this is the correct parentage for my Margaret.
