Hi Sarah, Just had a look through my Emerson file. The Sarah you are looking for could be the daughter of Joseph Emerson bapt 7 Oct 1805 Union St Wesleyan Church Bury and Elizabeth (Betty) Schofield (Scholfield) marr. 3 Mar 1829 St Mary`s Prestwich. The family lived at Grundy Fold. Sarah is living at 150 Cross Lane Radcliffe next door to her sister Mary who`s husband James Howarth is a beer seller at the Farmers Arms in 1881. Hope this helps. Sylvia. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2003 2:35 AM Subject: Re: [ENG-LAN-MIDDLETON-L] HILTON of Middleton > Hi Sylvia, > > I see you're still looking for the Emersons.
