Bad news-good news The bad news is that very few LDS (Mormon) churches have Family History Centers. The good news is that most (all over the world) FHCs are listed on the LDS FamilySearch website with locations and hours. In addition, some local genealogy societies (not attached to the LDS church) are also granted the status of FHC, at least to the ability to get microfilms and microfiche. The LDS Family History Library catalog is also online at the LDS FamilySearch website. BTW, only microfilms and microfiche can be rented at your local LDS FHC, not books.
