Please can anyone help with information about details recorded in the Oldham - St Mary's marriage registers from 1820 - 1830. The family members I am interested in are BINNS Amelia, " George, " Abraham, Lucy, John. I know one family member Tabitha BINNS was married at St Mary's - Prestwich in 1823 to Ernest BARLOW but have had no luck with the other members. Thank you for your tiem and effort. At present, all I have is the information contained on his marriage license: Marriage 22 October 1907 St James` Heywood. John WHALLEY age 24, bachelor, 112 Broad St Pendleton. father John Whalley to Mary NUTTALL age 26, spinster, 30 Bury St Heywood. father Samuel (deceased) an overlooker. witnesses Thomas WHALLEY and Alice Nuttall. I believe his occupation was listed as "news agent" and his father's was "gentleman." I believe that the Thomas Whalley who served as witness was his brother.
