    3. Hi Neil I think we may have been in touch before about the Middleton KENYONs, but can't at the moment put my finger on details! My husband's great-great-grandmother was Elizabeth KENYON, born about 1822 in Middleton. Her father was John KENYON, a weaver, who must have been born around 1800, but I have as yet not been able to prove who his parents were. (It's on the 'To Do' list!) I suppose it is possible that he is 'your' John born 1804, but I would have to scour the PRs and eliminate any others before I claimed the link. I have accumulated a list of KENYONs from the local PRs, if I haven't already sent you a copy - and if you'd like me to - then please just ask. It would be a Word document, sent as an attachment. I can see your Joseph's christening on the list in 1812, son of William and Nanny.
