    3. I have a "lost soul" in my ancestry named William DONNELLY (many different spellings!) who was lodging unmarried aged 30, born Liverpool, on the 1891 at Mount Pleasant Rd Rhodes, Middleton. He is again aged 30 (!) on the 1901 at Croft Cottages, Rhodes, but this time married and with 4 daughters. I cannot find the marriage or any birth registrations for the 4 daughters all born between 1893-1900 according to ages given on the 1901 census ages. His wife, Jessie was born Cheetham Hill ... all children are down on census as born in Rhodes. Has anyone any knowledge of what church I could look for baptism registers for the births of the children. Also the marriage between 1891-1894. The said William Donnelly had a poor beginning in life. In the workhouse in Liverpool as a youngster and discharged to work on a farm in Shevington, Wigan on the 1871 and 1881 census. Was born RC, but may have changed to Primitive Methodist. Any ideas would be very welcome, also any info on Mount Pleasant and Croft Cottages locations/history.
