Hi Laura, Once you have found your correct film at Manchester Central Library, you can sit there as long as you like, writing out extracts from the registers. If you do wish to take photocopies of anything, these can be obtained for 40 pence (self service). Take a look at the Central Library web site before you go, to make sure the registers you need are on film, and not in the archives dept (for which you will have to book a seat). P.S.
